The Forest Department, Ayush Department and the Foundation for Revitalisation of Local Health Tradition (FRLHT), will be jointly organising a national-level Traditional Healers’ Conference from October 21 to 23, along with the Paramparika Vaidya Parishat, Adichunchanagiri Mutt (Bellur Cross), on the Mutt premises at Nelamangala taluk.
The meet, to be held for the first time in India, was announced at a press conference, here on Saturday, by G N Srikantaiah, Additional Principal, Chief Conservator of Forests (Land Records) and Executive President of Conference.
Traditional healers from 20 states will take part in the seminar on ‘Mother and children’s safety’, and three senior healers will be given ‘Paramparika Vaidya Ratna’ award.
